Albee measuring instrument also referred as Albee Bone caliper is an essential orthopedic tool that is used in dental practices to measure the various parameters including depth, clearance, diameter and width etc. This measuring tool comprises of two curved arms with pointed tips that are used to grasp the tooth to be measured. The distance between the tips is then measured to determine the diameter of the tooth.

This measuring tool also comprise of a screw control attached to one arm and connecting with a circular connector to the other arm. The circular connector also has a circular, small grooved tip on the top.
